Fossie - dont want to upset you, but we booked a sea view too.....and we could see the sea if we leant over the balcony and looked right. My advice - get to room, and before you let the porter go, check the view...if its not right, head back down to reception there and then. Someone we met did that and got the front of house jobby.
Thanks for this information, I will do that after all its what we have paid for . I always pay for the better room just makes my holiday .
We have booked up for May and October of next year and cannot wait .BRILLIANT hotel

Hi Peter, glad you enjoyed you 2nd visit to the Susesi! Booked twice for next year already, I can understand why and cannot wait to go again ourselves!! Waiting for the winter brochure to come out to price for Easter 2011.
Can anyone advise whether more Brits are going to this area / hotel now ?
We also like to get out sometimes and so far I haven't found much info on Belek itself. Understand its quite small (which suits us) but is there much there - shops bars etc ?
Been to Icemeler, Olu & Turgutries before so how would belek compare to those ?
Grateful for any help.
Graham.
GrahamW,
Hi Graham .We were at the Susei early June and there were lots of Russians ,but you will get that all over Antalya region at that time of year because it is so near Russia. We went again in October and there were lots more Brits .I think this was becauise of two reasons one the time of year and the other because the hotel is getting really popular with great reviews. The town of Belek is very small with little or no nightlife ,it has mostly shops and a few bars .The reason we go to Belek twice a year now is because it is quiet and more laid back. There are plenty places to go in the area ,like trips to perge ,aspendos and to Antalya itself which is about 30 odd mins away in a cab.The hotel is right on the beach with everything you need lIke international blend drinks, al a carte restaurants and evening entertainment. There is a good market in Belek on a Saturday and one in a place called Kadriey on a Tuesday which is about ten mins in a cab .A few good bars and Restaurants there ,especially the Roman bar nice meals ,football on telly and Kareoke some nights .The reps have some really good nights there. If you decide to go here i am sure you will not be dissapointed.
We have booked this hotel for july. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if you can get nappies and baby food from shops close by? Also do they provide towels for the beach and pool? Also do they have tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms and are the beds comfy? First time to Turkey and first time for my new grandson who will be 9 months then, just a little worried!!!! Thanks.
Just to say we finally got booked for my 40th birthday. We are taking the kids out of school so had to wait for the exam table and by then Thomsons had sold out for our date so going with Thomas Cook with a terrible return flight time. Thanks for all the help everyone I sure I will be back with lots of questins nearer the date.
we are going to hotel in belek, susesi, wondered if anyone can advise, can u get nappies around and about. Do they have tea and coffee in the rooms, if not is it ok to bring own kettle??
You will have to go into the town of belek to buy nappies and baby food .There is a tractor which stops right outside the gate and the trip is about ten minutes ,i am reliably informrd that the nappies in Turkey are now as good as the brands they sell here ,it was not always like that .When we took our daughter ,son inlaw and months old grandson for the first time in 2005 they were terrible things that fell to bits, after that untill he was out of them we carried them with us There is no tea or kettle in your room but we always carry a small travel kettle with us .There are plenty of tea bags in the dining room unless you prefer your own.Get an empty coke bottle and fill it with milk and keep it in your fridge.
Just got back from a great week at the Susesi, anyone who is booked up for here is in for a treat. Lots more British there than I exoected, food is out of this world and lots of choice of drinks. They went out of their way to make my birthday special and I got a cake with sparklers at the steak al a carte restaurant. One downside was the evening entertainment, could have been a lot better.
