Thinking about going to Los Gigantes next year, two families with three teenagers.
We are not looking for wild night life but a few bars and maybe the occasional karaoke night would do us. Some people say that it is completely dead so any advice would be great please, Canary Island virgins so we have not got a clue
thanks
Hi
love Los Gigantes.
So laid back no lager louts crowds of teenagers lots of sensible adults and families.
Kareoke always somewhere nice placed to eat. Very friendly and English.
We stay at Barcelo Satiago and have been there at least 10 times wonderful hotel if you are after hotel. 15 mins walk to Los Gigantes and even quieter but in the little bars across the way there is entertainment.
Enjoy

Beach is poor.

Not very good for the beach though, was the black volcanic sand - tended to stay by the pool.
Nice place though.
Los Gigantes is wonderful if you are just looking to chill out and relax. No beach to speak of but nice lido area where the kids could spend the day instead of a hotel pool. To be honest I think teenagers would be pretty bored unless you find a hotel that would keep them occupied day & night. Costa adeqe further up the coast maybe a better option, more bars, restuarants, shopping, entertainment etc. It all depends on what you are looking for. Good luck!
In the past we have hired cars in other countries that have spent most of the holiday parked up.
£99 is a lot of wine for Mrs Bigbaddad
used to be really good but has died a death, one of, if not the quietest resorts. nothing for teenagers
