Hi,

I travel alone with my DS who is 9. I am currently looking for a sneaky break in October half term as we had 3 weeks in Florida/Orlando back in july and august but I missed a chance to relax and unwind and my favourite destination of Turkey.

I have been to Crete and Zakynthos, but looking at the weather for the end of Oct Rhodes along with Crete seems to get the better or rather higher of the temperatures. Obviously we would like it as warm as possible LOL we went to Ibiza at the same time a couple of years ago and I will never set foot on that island again, but I LOVED Crete (we stayed in Stalis) and Zakynthos we had a lovely time too (stayed in Argassi). For those who've been to Turkey, we've fallen in love with Olu Deniz and its almost the perfect resort, but Id like to go somewhere different

So, which would be the best resort for us at this time of year? and any tips would be gratefully received

We like
~ a nice beach
~ hotel or apartments which has swimming pool
~ a town or smallish resort which is nice to walk around in the evenings to get dinner and just wander.
~ don't really want or need AI as my son is the height of fussiness, we rarely make breakfast and dont like to be tied to meal times so am happy with SC.
~ a place where we can easily get to places to go on any trips etc
~ my son LOVES things to do such as mini golf etc, its a way to spend the evening
~ obviously do not need clubs and bars as it is just me and him

Can anyone recommend a good resort which would suit us, and also recommend place to stay?
