am looking to book 4 nights in Benidorm on my own ...have just had nasty split from my fella n need a few days away...will it be safe ? or should i stick to my hotel n not venture too far afield ? also what is the weather loikely to be like, dont fancy sitting in my room if its chucking it down or wrapped in a beach towel on my sun bed

october is the wettest month!
but it's pretty warm in the daytime still!
we went, last week of oct last year and are going same time
this year. last year it rained 3 out of the 7 days but not for too
long, didn't spoil our holiday! we still went in the outdoor pool
on one of the other days, still got tans.
As for if you'll be safe on your own, I'd say as safe as anywhere else!
depends on where abouts and when really, might not be such a good
idea to go wandering around the square at 3 in the morning on your own
but, if you're reasonably careful I can't see why not!

thanks...was going to go 1st nov....but been signed off work til 31st oct so maybe not such a good idea !
