Good review, I enjoyed reading it. I had this hotel on a list of possibles for a special occasion, luxury break. Judging from your final comments I guess I should look elsewhere.

Its a perfectly good budget hotel but if its a bit of luxury you are after then no. Clean, functional and central are its selling points IMO
