if i exchange pounds for euros in malta will i be paying any extras?
the reason i ask is, last time i was in malta a couple of years ago you still had lira and i got a good exchange rate at josef car hire in buggiba. i gave him pounds, he gave me lira job done.
recently i went to paris and the only place to exchange currency was at the beauro X buero X booro X MONEY CHANGE SHOP! but they charged commision and tax and anything else they could think of, suffice to say i went in to change 300 quids and came out with 250 euros WODDARIPOFF!

i know the rate in malta is usually better than uk but if it were just currency for currency, fine.
if there is a charge for this then i will buy it in uk.
