which of the above resorts would be the busiest next week i.e plenty of bars/resturants open and which would be better weatherwise
thanks tracey
weatherwise look out of window to check.(joke) but its a funny island like ibiza rain in one place sunshine another.and ibiza is smaller.check 15 day forecast.give you a rough idea.but sometimes they are wrong.
it was a choice between the condes de alcudia or the honalulu in magaluf and the condes had better reviews so went with that.
hubby said their may be hen's and stags staying at the honalulu as it appears to be more of a hotel for groups of friends. the condes seems to be a family hotel.
regards tracey
alcudia is fine.but it will be dead i know that for a fact.at least if you had booked magaluf/palma nova/would you have had more to do.and not so far from airport as well.infact on a nice day you could have walked it to palma city.
I think you have made the right choice with your hotel. We stayed at the Condes De Alcudia a few years ago and it was really nice. The hotel was spotless clean and the food was really good. We were all inclusive and the drinks were also very good, the only thing that lets this hotel down is the pool, it's quite small.
We have stayed in Palma Nova 8 times and I know where the hotel Honalulu is, it's up a very steep hill, very close to the main area of Magalluf and it is mainly for young groups of people.

some walk
magaluf is 15km (9 miles) southwest of the island capital, Palma
i done it loads of times.stopping off at porto p for shopping and drinks.always get bus back though.
had a great holiday after the first 2 days of rain weather was good. really liked the condes and alcudia would return.

yep you can walk from magaluf
you end up walking past marineland then Portal pi before that though you pass the kings palace and then you are there well at the harbour end of Palma
i haev doen it more than once and enjoyed it not that long at all especially if you just follow through from Marineland right round
yes it is a nice walk indeed.you really get to see some nice places on the way.stop off for drinks at Portal pi.then carry on walking passed the boats.along seafront.or if you have never been.get the bus first time.then just follow its route.9k is only around 5 miles anyway.
i regularly get a taxi from magaluf to palma nova!
