I had a week in Paxos last year and it was absolutel heaven

hi maxtravel....there is a forum especially for rhodes...but as youve asked for a nice quiete resort thought I.d chip in.....I went to pefkos on rhodes island in august and loved it...might fit the bill for you...even in the middle of august it wasnt mad busy...just enough people leisurly strolling round at night to give it that holiday feel...really good open air resturants ...tables lit with little oil lamps... where the food was exellent and the service spot on...some nice bars .. I had some really nice cocktails....nice beach where you can hire a boat complete with the tackle and the bait and go fishing ....just a short bus ride to lindos which is busier...you can visit other islands and think you can go over to turkey on a trip

The pace of life is slow and leisurly in pefkos...and very friendly...we stayed in the marianthi apatments...very basic rooms but clean...lovely views from balcony...it was on a hill above the village...nice pool area to chill out ...and the owners and staff were lovely....it was nicely situated for the views and a 2 minute walk from the main street lined with resturants and bars...there was no drunken or unruley behaviour...just full of like minded people wanting a chilled out holiday...good meals...and a bit of good company....
