It's been brought to my attention that a few expats and owners / ex owners of property in Goa have been posting with reports of a negative nature in an attempt to cause as much disturbance to these forums as possible and also what seems to be an attempt to disrupt the tourism industry in Goa.

I feel HT members are wise enough to understand that press reports are generally of a negative nature the same as here in the UK. Whilst they may affect locals/expats they are not relevant to the holidaymaker.

We will not allow HT to be used as a political agenda for the underhand few who feel they can use it as such.

We have an expats forum for discussions and reports of this nature and I would be obliged if those members concerned respected the HT setup and used the expats forum for their discussions.

I have instructed the admins and mods to move all post related to expats and property owners to the correct forum.

When you signed up to HT you agreed to use the boards in a civilised and respectful manner to both other members and the admin/mod team and it would appear that certain members are not abiding by this agreement.

HT reserves the right to terminate any account as we see fit and to ban the member concerned from even accessing the site in the future. We generally operate a three strikes and you're out policy but we can ban at any time.

The mods/admins have my authority to ban members as they feel necessary.
