I can give you a rough idea for Churida's (dodgy spelling), one of the workers at our charity, Savita makes the Indian style churidar sets for around 150 Rs/- She's the one who made them all for the Christmas presents for the last couple of years...

She only does Indian style I think and oly for the ladies.. But hopefully it will give you a good idea of what you should pay...

I would say no more than 300 rupees for the ladies trousers G.E.L ...I pay about that for a dress to be made and paid 300 but that was to get 2 skirts made it could be less but when he said 300 to make a dress and I had got my own material I thought that was a great price ..when are you going to Goa G.E.L.....colleen

Thankyou rob for the info the kids look great.Irishcoleen going to Goa on the 9th december :pele :pele really looking forward to it, As you know i missed last year so its nearly two years since i had an holiday :( trying to get myself organizes early on in holiday so i can relax a bit, staying in the south in an apartment but will be coming to the north for some retail therapy :D and to go to the saturday night market. :cheers Gel
