i look on here every day , the weather in beni is starting to cool down now , still in low 20s but cold at night , pretty busy and the bars are doing ok , some will tell you that its dead but its not , its just not as busy as it used to be , still a great place to holiday , take care and enjoyyourselves

I'm still here, just looking in now and again! It's still fairly warm in the day, mid 20s. Chilly at night, maybe cardigan weather? Hopefully it's picking up for fiestas peoplewise because it HAS been extremely quiet over the last year or so! The bars and cabaret bars have been getting a bit busier than they have been. It's not "dead" by any means, just quieter!

Well we will find out everything for ourselves very soon as we should arrive at the Castilla in the early evening on Thursday. I have emailed the hotel to request a pool view room.
We usually do lots of walking and we look forward to seeing the completed sea front along the Poniente side. We also enjoy the walks in the area leading to the Cross, although we have only completed the journey once.
It sounds as though there are a few different acts on in the Cabarets and lots of the regulars.

We also arrive tomorrow (Thursday) - some of us staying at the Helios and some at the Pelicanos. We have some friends who are there at the moment who have just sent us a text to say that the temperture today is 79. Sounds good to me!

Thanks for the message LincolnSue. We had a fab time - hope you did too. The weather was great for the time of year wasn't it? It's the first time we've been that late in the year and didn't really know what to expect, so it was a nice surprise. Not when we got back home though, it was absolutely freezing! Quite an eventful homecoming - someone got arrested on the plane and then mother fell over at the airport and broke her thumb.
