Does anyone know of any good cruises that leave from New York next april as we are thinking of having a few days sight seeing then trying to get a cruise for a week or so .

In April Norwegian cruise line has some 7 day cruises down to Florida and the Bahamas, and also to Bermuda. Bear in mind it won't be very warm in NY then - you will have to sail down to Florida before it starts to really warm up. QM2 also does Transatlantics all year round. Later in the season Royal Caribbean, Princess and Carnival all have cruises from NY.
