Have just booked a Carribean Cruise on the P & O ship Ventura. We are going to:
Barbados
St vincent
Grenada
Curacao
Aruba
Catalina Island (although I think this destination has changed)
Tortola
St Maarten
St Kitts
St Lucia
Has anyone had a this itinery or similar.
Not sure what trips to do and whether to do P & O trips or do our own thing. I thoughts are to do a mixture. Do local ones ourselves and then do inner island ones with P & O.

Did most of your itenery this year with Thomson (going again next year) we walked into Bridgetown Barbados and had a ride back on a trik, Grenada did the spice and coco trip very good, St Kitts did the train ride pricy but well worth it, Tortola get on an open bus (small) outside port for a trip round to beaches etc, St Maarten get water taxi to beach plenty of shopping for wife (partner), St Lucia trip round rain forest, but most of the ports are great not industrial as in the Med, its just a great place to walk round . We did speak to someone who had been on your ship and had a great time the only problem they had was if the sea was rough they could not dock because of its size but that was at Christmas.
