i'm not sure,if you actually can,because usually,if you post the question on here,someone will always point you,in the right direction,but unfortunately,this hasn't been the case,so far.

You cant book these apartments direct,I wanted to go there also,because I book my own flights,you have to go through a tour operator and book a package,someone on another website said that you can book them with Thomsons and Thomascook,they get good reviews and in a good location close to everything.

I wasn't able to make any headway with this so have booked a hotel.

Each year when I go to Icmeler I intend to call at the Prince to establish if it's possible to book direct and each year I fail. When I go in June I WILL call in and will report back on my progress (or lack of).

What have you decided to do for 2010? Hotel?

I have visited the Prince apartments 4 times and have always used Direct Holidays.
I did enquire at the Prince desk about booking direct and I was told I could only book the Apartments through a tour operator.

Patsie - please do report back following your June holiday, although from previous posts I doubt booking direct will be possible. As for my 2010 holiday, well, I'm probably further away than when I first posted on this thread as I'm now toying with the idea of going somewhere totally different, maybe longhaul, I don't know, I really can't make decisions with holidays Shame that, cos I really fancied Icmeler after very high recommendations from friends. The Prince Apts ticked the all the boxes I needed, which are nice apts, big pool and central location to keep me, er indoors and our three teenagers occupied!

Redrhino - I confirm you can book with Direct Holidays, but not on the dates I was after, thanks for the info anyway.

To summarise for future reference, this is how I see it - if you live in the UK you can only book through Direct Holidays online and would need to book well in advance. In December, I tried booking for June but could only get a room to sleep two people - this wasn't even in school holidays! Good luck to anyone else trying to book these elusive apts and thanks again to all who replied.

Anyone recommend Goa or Thailand or I may just go to Portugal and have done with it

Update for anyone who may require info on Prince apts for the future: -

I am currently in Bonjour Hotel in Icmeler - very nice but small pool. Called in the Prince yesterday and was told this by the very helpful lady on reception. The Prince has 70 or 75 rooms - can't remember exactly which one she said - 16 of which are reserved by Direct Holidays for UK tourists. The rest of the rooms are reserved by some other operator for Scandanavian guests. You cannot book direct with Prince as all their rooms are contracted out to the operators. So, if anyone wants to book this place, you have to go through Direct and I would suggest booking very early if you want specific dates. Also, if you are bothered by being in a hotel with mainly 'foreigners', I suggest you don't bother. It did look a nice place with a decent sized pool and was in a very central location. Hope this proves to be of assistance to someone in the future.

BTW, Icmeler is a beautiful resort.

I am a complete failure as I never got round to calling in the Prince in June so thanks for the info.

So pleased you like Icmlemer.

We passed some apartments in the old village and they looked really good but may be too far from the centre (we were on a coach so difficult to know the exact location).

We are back in Icmeler in September so intend to take a stroll/hike to find them and check them out. Will let you know how we get on.
