this hotel is best suited for older people , saga holidays use this hotel , food is english and very good buffet style , even get champange for breakfast , spanish pensioners do stay here as well , they tend to be noisy and like all spanish they dont believe in queing , right on the sea front , with beach just across the road , nice promenade for walking , nice stroll to the marina to see the millionares boats , denia town is a long walk away , there is a bus service to it , as for euros i would get some before you go and then find a good change place when you get there , but be careful , some of these places in fact most of them are rip off places who wont give you a proper exchange rate even though it says so on there boards , to get the rate they say then you have to exchange about 500 pounds or you dont get that rate , , be careful . if your not confident then take all euros from england , duty free shops in the airport are more expensive than those in the resort ,

Well what does one say about this hotel...Okay, Here we go.

Firstly though I thoroughly enjoyed the holiday.

I went with Saga all-inclusive. Saga's all-inclusive means food and local drinks which stat at ten am and finish 11 pm. The food part of all-inclusive however, just means breakfast, dinner and tea. No snack bars which in all-inclusive hotels I have stayed in before have snack bars and there is no time limit to when one eats or drinks. Saga should not advertise all-inclusive. It should be advertised as Full board, all drinks included until 11 pm. After 11pm one has to pay for their own drinks tea , coffee etc:

The hotel is near a very small beach. To access the long beach one has to walk passed the marina then, a seven mile beach is there to walk on. How ever, I think most of the people there went for the company.

The Spanish arrived on the weekend they were also very friendly. The food seemed to be better then and, they were well catered for. But we were not forgotten.

No white sand and not a very nice beach.
The hotel is only three star, the rooms overlook the pool and have a sea view. Rooms are small. Well heated.

The food is reasonable not much choice mainly left overs.
It is a paradise for pensioners, a warm old folk's home I would say. It would not take long to find company. The staff are friendly all of them were wonderful.
Indoor swimming pool was cold and the roof leaked that was hilarious. A small gym.
Bus stop outside the hotel.

Faulty Towers springs to mind.

sounds like you enjoyed your stay DOOGAL, a good fair review of this hotel , ive never stayed in it but i do visit denia often and pass this hotel , a friend of mine lives in denia and his pool cleaner works for the hotel , like you say all inclusive should include snacks all day , not just meal times , would you stay there again ??thats the question

Hello, doogle here. In answer to your question. I would stay there again, in winter but, just for the week. The reason because the staff are friendly.
If one is on their own it is ideal. I am lucky I have a family. It is a handy hotel just to get away for the week no longer for me though. I have been to better hotels.

There is a duty free shop just opposite the hotel and it only sells cigarettes and tobacco. No other shops other than a couple of gift shops which are expensive. Yes, take euros. Not much else going on around and about. I am afraid it is a bus journey.
