Any of the hotels in Mexico got great snorkling in front of the hotel?

The beaches & snorkling seem to get a lot of poor reviews & most people mention great snorkling as part of a day trip, rather than something they can do in front of their hotel

My husband loves snorkling, I'm a bit wary of the sea, but when the water is super clear & warm I find it much easier.

Go to Cuba wonderful hotel PRDO at Guardalavaca snorkling right from the beech super beech and water we are going back for 3rd time so must be good people second to none.

Thanks for your reply.
To be honest we were looking to go to Mexico or the Dom Rep, rather than Cuba.

Dom Rep fabulous snorkelling outside most of hotels on Bavaro Beach. :cheers
