We are coming back once again end of Feb to PDC(arriving 21st for one week) and were lucky to catch the carnival last year.

Hiya!!! Think you could miss it this year 
Carnaval is ALWAYS the Monday before Shrove Tuesday in Arrecife, and the Burying of the Sardine is always on Ash Wednesday. Normally Carnaval in PDC is the Saturday after, which in my reckoning makes it 20th Feb, though that date is not set in stone!!!

Hi Sue, thats a shame if we miss it. I did wonder if we would as Easter is earlier this time.
Really enjoyed it last year. Never mind theres always another year and at least we're in Lanzarote and thats what counts!!
