Hi, Regente or Calypso, I have stayed at the Regente, it's a nice clean friendly place to stay and you can upgrade to AI at the hotel for a very reasonable price.
The Palm Beach is in an isolated location and although they do provide a bus personally I wouldn't stay there.

I have stayed in both the Palm Beach and the Regente.
I would never stay in the palm beach again nor recommend it.
It is too far up the steep hill, and not a particlarly nice hotel. It is no where near a 4 star hotel.
OK you can get a free bus up and down but waiting around for it is an inconvenience. It would take about 15-20 minutes to walk down to the beach. A lot longer on the way back.
I stayed AI in the Regente and the food was great, my only complaint about the hotel was that it was too hot inside. They wouldn't put the air conditioning on as it was October.
I have not stayed in the calypso but have stayed in other Servigroup hotels and they too have been great.
If it was me I would go with the calypso.

Not sure about the calypso, the Regente doesn't have one.

no indoor pool at the Calypso.but Calypso wins hands down on hotels in beni.central to all you need.had a refit two years ago all through.very nice indeed.
