Hello
Can anyone tell me how far apart Alcudia and Cala Bona are and if there is regular transport links?
Me and my partner are going to be in Alcudia the same time as my parents are in Cala Bona so we would like to go and visit them for a day if its not going to be too much hassle/expense etc

The distance isn't that great - 40/50 kilometres or so - but bus transport isn't great. There is a bus, as in one or two a day, that takes ages. Maybe there will be a better service this summer, but the schedules won't be available for some while yet.
I agree with andrew re the bus service. My son visited us in cala bona travelling by bus from alcudia, thought he was never going to arrive!! Perhaps a car would be a better choice.
We did the trip last year but must admit it was one of the reasons we had a hire car when you looked at doing it on public transport, probably under an hour in a car.
We did the trip the opposite way around last October, it takes about 45 minutes in a car between the two towns, I cant say I even saw a bus in Cala Bona that went to Alcudia.
