Hi Pancho .. I didn't realise Flamingo Playa was a hotel now, I only remember it as a self catering apartment complex. It's just opposite Flamingo Benidorm, but it too is a high rise building. In fact they used to accommodate All Inclusive guests in self catering apartments at the Flamingo Playa, but they had to go across the road to the Flamingo Benidorm for their meals and drinks.

I can't think of any 7 or 8 storey hotels in the immediate vicinity. The Hotel Rio Park, Hotel Castiilla and Hotel Caballo de Oro are just a few minutes walk away, but I think they are all around 11 or 12 storeys.

What about the Perla Hotel on Calle Lepanto, that's low rise and not too far, although more than 5 minutes, probably about 10-15 but I don't think you'll find anything nearer that meets your needs. It gets very good reviews and is reasonably priced.
