Hi all,
finally bit the bullet and didn't book 2 weeks package holiday to Turkey as we always do.
So....
We have now booked flights as follows:
August
6th - 11th Las Vegas
11th - 16th San Francisco
16th - 21st Maui
21st - 26th Los Angeles.
All that is left to do is research and hunt for those much talked about deals.

Is it safe to book on the Hotel search companies on Tripadvisor? I only ask because 1800.com have got The Planet Hollywood for our dates in August for £295 in the Hollywood Hip Room and this is much cheaper than anywhere else.

I wouldn't say it was unsafe, but it's not usually recommended to book through a 3rd party site. You need to read their T&C's carefully and usually, if you see something better, you can't cancel and rebook.
£295 is $478 inc tax which is more expensive than the MGM offer.
