We are thinking of booking a holiday here around the 11th December. Has anyone been here recently? The reviews are a year or so old, so was wondering if anyone can let me know what these suites are like.

Also, for the last year or two we have been to Tenerife and Lanzarote, again this was in December. I was wondering what the weather is like here at this time. Tenerife this year was hit and miss (well more miss actually, heavy rain!). Is there much difference in weather conditions here?

Lastly, we find the area in and around Playas de las Americas as a great base on Tenerife with plenty of day and night activities. Lovely walks along the prom. How does Maspalomas and the surrounding area compare?

Any help or opinions greatly appreciated, can't wait to go again
