Yes, I think that information's correct. Most AI hotels issue a different colour band to under 18's to ensure that they don't get served alcohol at the bars. I'm not saying that they won't be able to stay in any AI hotel but they wouldn't be served alcohol. If they want a drink they'd have to venture into the town where they'll find many places that aren't too fussy about what age they sell to..
Thanks. Its not that they want to drink in the hotel, they cant even get accepted with their booking, because they are Under 18 is being offered as the reason. I am not sure if all operators have this policy or if its the airline?? HELP !
I think you will find that most tour operators will require at least the lead person to be 18... there are ways round this, say by booking flights with a company offering a lower acceptance age, and booking accommodation and transfers direct, this then will limit the number of possible destinations and you may be required to pay a hefty deposit
If they are under 18 then technically they are still minors and so require adult supervision. If one was over 18 he would be the responsible adult, Heaven help us all! You may even find the airline has a problem if they are all under 18!
Am I the only one thinking they'll be expecting alcohol on the All Inclusive?

No Chivas, but I must be the only one to see why under 18's wouldn't be served alcohol, when the legal age to consume alcohol in Spain is 18 years old....so knowingly accepting bookings for under 18's in establishments where alcohol is served all day and part of the "package", can result in very hefty fines from the authorities.
Also though I'm sure they would be allocated the childs A/I wristband? Or are they both the same, adult and child alike?

No Chivas, the adults and children's bands are different colours which would make it difficult for them to obtain alcohol. If I'm reading correctly though, the original poster's concern isn't about them not being able to obtain alcohol. She just wants to know if they'd be allowed to holiday there without and adult. I maybe wrong, but I doubt very much whether they's want to go, knowing they wouldn't be allowed drinks
