there is a chain of coffee shops called cafe Coffee days which serve real coffee Barista style! its not cheap by Indian standards but boy it tastes good- and their stores are wonderfully air conditioned! Branches in Calangute, Baga and on the outskirts of Candolim to name but a few

Last April I think it was about 150 rupees for a huge Latte/cappicino so heading towards Starbuck prices but much nicer coffee and of course lovely Indian hospitality!
