Hi shrimper ... the number 20 Llorente Bus service goes from Benidorm to Guadalest, but it is a very infrequent service, I believe just one per day in each direction on weekdays only.

Excursions can be arranged through the usual sources, such as tour operator or local agency, and you may find that some of the free Blanket Trips also visit Guadalest on certain days.

Went to visit Quadalest in 1976 first visit to spain and loved it, took daughter and boyfriend back about 8 years ago to see it and we got a taxi from Dove park as 4 of us it was the best way to go at the time and it was not that expensive, lovely ride and the views was good the higher we got, trouble was when we got there it was early sept and it was plagued in wasps, not one or two loads they was all over us, got so bad we went into a cafe and phoned for a taxi to take us back to Benidorm which took over 2 hours to arrive. Is worth a visit though they have signs near the taxi's saying the price, blanket trips did go last time we was there a couple of years ago if your prepared to do all the trip of where they want to take you
