Yes mate its true the pool has gone also the poolbar and also the infinity bar that was joined onto it,i have a few pictures of it knocked down,if you wish to see them just let me know.The karacan hotel is or was prob one of the best hotels in marmaris i have stayed there many times.Many pubs and resteraunts in marmaris have gone i was told there is a new road being made.Hope this answers ur question i would say they have a case for a hotel change,as there is not even a place to have breakfasts outside either they would have to eat in doors.

i m working just closer to karacan beach hotel beginning of April 2010. only i have seen pool and infinity bar has been knocked down. they demolished all beach side there and making new walking side from Grand azur till Pasha Beach hotel. 3 Brothers has got new building and new desing. i will let u know when everything is done.

Thanks guys my brother still waiting to see what's happening . I told him to get on to travel agents and go from there. But he just love staying there he is reluctant to go elsewhere. All he says is it will be sorted before we go.So will look forward to your update for him.

yes bad news. Karacan Beach hotel will not be oopen this season summer 2010. The owner has deciced to close it down. There is still rubbish of demolition front of hotel Municipality says the owner of K.Beach hotel must clear out it and owner says no municipality has done it and they must clear out. The beach side walking has completed from G.azur till Pasa beach.

Hi, can frankie the turk or anyone post some pictures of the Karacan Beach after the demolishing. I just can't believe that any one could bulldoze the most beautiful pool in marmaris. We have been going for the last 13 years - I am gutted.

Can anyone tell me where the dancing bar infinity went?
I was there last year and want to go there again in september this year.
I heard that the whole karacan beach hotel was demolished with inifinty aswell.
I had contact with one of the guys who worked there, He is not working at infinity anymore so he could tell me that it was replaced but could'nt give me the new place of bar infinity.
