On a flight last summer to Dalaman,as soon as we were in the air and seatbelt signs were off, a woman across the aisle and 2 rows up from me, stood up. She was a larger woman. There was only one toilet (or only one working onboard) and it was situated at the front of the plane. I was row 7 and she would have been 5. Now she stood in the aisle blocking the way for cabin crew and causing congestion at the toilet (with only being one loo and being a night flight...the loo was busy!) Now she stood for ages until the cabin crew asked her why she wasnt sitting down, her response....my grandchildren are playing cards on my seat and i dont mind standing.....they asked her to sit down, she did for 10 minutes,,,she then stoof back up again and this time the cabin crew asked her to sit down and she said no as the seatbelt sign wasn't on and she didn't have too. It was incredible as she just didn't seem to care or understand that for safety she should sit or she was causing a traffic jam! What happened in the end was the poor guy who was sat across from her, kept getting her bum in his face whenever she bent over to talk to the children...after a couple of hours, he snapped and when she bent over he slapped her hard across the bum........ a small cheer erupted when she took the huff and finally sat down!
Then he got 30 days for sexual harrasmant?
Talking of playing cards, we were lucky last summer when 3 of us were allocated the middle 3 front row seats (plenty of leg room) and 3 in the row behind. Sis and I vacated our seats to sit on the floor in front of our partners who were in the front seats. This way we could all play cards (using one of the front seat tables) comfortably without causing an inconvenience to others. We did however have to move on a couple of occasions when one woman went walking down one aisle, cutting across our row and then back up the other side.
I think generally nobody has a problem with people who get up out of thier seat etc..just some people seem to have no common sense..and I reckon these are the people who get on everyones nerves....
I would love to have seen that greenshoes

I wonder where the bum snifer had got to, now sniffing bums on the airplane,
Lets just say this woman wont stand in the aisle next time without thinking!Even the cabin crew let out a small chuckle, it was very funny
