Hi everyone and what a great forum.
My name is Danny and I am thinking of booking a villa
thru holidaylettings for 4 adults and two 8 year old children
in Cala D'Or.
Couple of years ago we went to Cala n'Bosch in Minorca and loved it
and was looking for something similar in Majorca.
Is there other places we should consider or any good pointers you
could give me ?
Any Villas you could post links for ?

I've been to Cala D'Or and to Menorca a few times but not to Cala n Bosh (Cala Galdana, Es Castell, Cala Blanca & toured the Island by car).
We liked Cala D'Or especially round the marina of an evening. Cala Egos is also close by and sometimes incorporated in Cala D'Or info.

We have been to both cala'n bosch and cala d'or, to be honest they are very similar and if you liked cala'n bosch you will enjoy cala d'or.
Both great resorts, you could also consider Puerto Pollensa as well.

The Acuamarina restaurant in the marina is superb! Simplez 
I would recommend you look at http://www.ownersdirect.co.uk and http://www.holidaylettings.co.uk if you want to rent a villa in Cala Dor. Would suggest the Cala Egos side of the marina - perhaps in Marina Dor 1 complex - some nice holiday villas to let. Hope this helps
Nicer beach at Cala N'Bosch, but the town centre of Cala d'Or is a LOT bigger than Cala N'Bosch.
More restaurants/bars, more shops.
