Welcome to the forum :) I went to Ireland at the beginning of the year and it was fab :) I know January is a very strange time of year to travel to Ireland especially after all it is the middle of winter! Due to my job being in the tourism industry I am not allowed time off in peak season easily, so I went than. I loved it even though we had fog, flooded roads, light snow, etc, it was still a fab experience :D I am hoping to go back soon when I can. I stayed in Dungervan and went to Cork, Kilkenny, Kilnarary (sp?), Cobh, Youghal, to name a few.

Hi, Ben. We also went to Ireland and thought it was fab. We flew to Belfast, hired a car and motored all the way down the east side until we got to Kinsale. Stayed there for a few nights, went over to the Aran islands, then did the west side and flew back from Belfast. Weather was great, people were so friendly and all accomodation was first class.

Just came back from a weekend break in Belfast- really impressed with city and all the things you can do: Titanic Quarter, Black Cab Tours, Ulster Museum...even managed to get out to the Giant's Causeway. Great Trip! nice to meet you, I am new too :)

I came back early on Sunday morning from a week staying in County Tipperary and I loved it :D I visited Cork, Waterford, Ennicourty, Tipperay, Cobh, Dungervan again, Ennis, Cliffs of Moher, Foynes, Limerick and Killnerary and the weather was sunny every day which was lush (we only had one day with bad weather and that was the day we went over, typically).
