Hi
Having holidayed throughout the EU for the past 15 years or more, we are having a change and going to lanzarote soon. I am aware that the duty free allowances are not the same as the EU, only 200 fags and 1 litre of spirits etc. But, I have been told, (by someone who thinks they know about such things) that we can take our allowance at the airport on the outward journey, also take it on the aircraft and in resort as well. I am slightly dubious about this, so, can anyone enlighten me please.
I know it is a question that will have arisen before and apologise if it has, but, I am intrigued!!!
Thanks in anticipation.
Cheers
Tony
You can only bring back into the UK 200 cigs. per person, Google - Canaries duty free allowances - and you will have all the answers
Obviously you can bring it back if you don't buy anymore once there!
Seems a bit daft: bring prices down even to supermarket levels & people will happily spend their last euros
