We stayed here in October 09 and, like you, didn't read the small print about the lagoon not being open. However, there were not a lot of people staying at the hotel and it was no problem at all. The other pool is lovely (albeit rather cold when you first get in) and it was nice and quiet around it. The pool bar was nice although we were pestered by wasps a bit. There is a small toddlers pool as well and you can always go on the small beach. I think it will depend on how many are staying at the hotel but must presume they shut the lagoon in the quieter months.

We found the hotel to be really nice, the food was good and the staff were really helpful.

This year will be our 4th time staying at the corcyra beach.The earliest we have stayed their is from the 8th june and the logoon was open. My friends went last year on the 15th may and it was open so hopefully you will be in luck.To be honest with you we have never spent much time at the lagoon, dont get me wrong it is very nice and cant be faulted but you have the beach and lunch is served down at the other pool.The sea view rooms are to die for the view is breathtaking ,i book one every time.If you have booked through thomsons you will either be in the main building or the nausica building which is a seperate block on the way down to the beach.Hope this helps i am sure you will have a fab time we go 21st june and cant wait.
