Went to San Antonio bay 3 years ago and fancy going back in Sept but the prices of apartments seem to have gone through the roof - about min £450 a week for a 1 bed, we had paid £300. Does anyone know why this is or know anywhere that is good standard but doesn't require a bank loan? We're both in our 60's so want a bit of comfort and near the beach. We know the euro/pound has taken a hammering but on the mainland the increases were nothing like this. Glad for any comments.

i don't know where you're looking but i couldn't find much over 300 quid a week. try playa bella for a week in a studio under 300 sterling.
