Sorry I can't help with tours etc but can say that we have just returned from Tenerife and although we were staying in the south east of the Island we spent a full day in Puerto de la Cruz and another full day in Loro Parque (which is on the edge of Puerto de la Cruz).

I'm not sure what you like to do but you may not need too many tours during the time you are there!!

Why not rent a car and travel about yourself?? The longest journey on the Island only took us an hour and fifteen minutes so everywhere is fairly close.
