Souni is in a good area for getting to different places as long as you have a car. You can easily get to the mountains, the sea and Limassol City, it is also not far from the motorway which goes across the isalnd and to Nicosia. if you are happy to stay somewhere quiet, is seems an ideal location.

Thank you for your reply.
We will have a car for the duration of our holiday, do you happen to know if there are any restaurants/tavernas/bars in the area itself. We will drive to places to eat of an evening however sometimes it is nice just to walk to the odd one or two?
We have googled the area and it does look like there are quite a few properties in the area.

Depends whereabouts in Souni you will be....

If you are looking at a holiday villa right bang in the middle of the big residential estate then there are no shops or restaurants there without driving back towards the main through road.

If you are looking at a villa that is on the Compose estate -it has 14 villas and I know there are a couple there for holiday let (it's just situated off the road that goes up to Omodos village and Troodos), then there is a taverna on the opposite side of the road (about 5 - 10 mins walking) and also one on the other side - heading into where Country Rose estate is and the big residential area.

Other than that, you will most certainly need to have a car and you have a choice of going up towards the mountains or down towards the sea at Curium Beach with some beach bars and some small restaurants in Erimi village.

Souni into the main tourist area of Limassol is approx 25 mins driving in light traffic.
