Hello,

i think if you have a 2 day disney ticket its valid for 14 days after day of first use, im sure when we went last year we had a 4 day park ticket & it was valid for so many days you dont ahve to keep going 1 day after the other.

also i didnt think you could visit the water park with the park hopper ticket for just a 2 day one, i thought it was just the 4 main parks, however i may be wrong, i will try to find out after work.

i think doing more than one park in a day is acheivable, especially if you know what you want to see etc, maybe you could get to the queue you think may be more popular first, we went in may & found the queues not too bad in most places, got busier as the day went on!!

the water parks are near the theme parks, we arrived via bus & got of at the disney transportation centre you can then get a free disney bus to your selected park or water park. :)

Bubble - there are many ticket options - including "never expire" so it really does depend on what ticets you have. Including use of tickets in 2 separate weeks.

Katz - if you have tickets and want to upgrade to never expire (and they mean never - my father in law has tickets still from opening day of WDW!!!! - there worth more to collectors than the entry fee at todays rates!) - before entry go to customer services and you pay for the upgrade and bingo if you dont use the ticket and you come back in 10 years you still got the ticket!

Ok - Blizzard Beach etc are all "on site" WDW and not all Park Hoppers include the water parks so be carefull. The WDW busses serve ALL areas although it's like regular bus routes and it's not like you get on any bus and it goes to every park/area/hotel etc.

Time saving tip, if you want to eat at a particular WDW place, dont "waste" time eating on your park pass, if you are "Park - ing" eat simple snack/fast food in the park. When you want to eat (Boma - Animal Lodge, Grand Floridian - Magic Kingdom, etc etc) you can make reservations and go there without a park ticket - just like any other rest/diner/hotel. We will go occassionally just to eat.

Also bear in mind the new Water Park Aquatica was built for Seaworld (but as Seaworld and Busch Gardens has been sold I do not actually know if Aquatica is owned by Anhauser Busch or the new owners) it is on the other side of I Drive from Seaworld.

Tower of Terror = My fav.

If you are driving let me know - I'll tell how to park free at WDW and then use monorail etc to get around.

Doing 3 parks in one day is a lot (or you miss a lot) - especially for the kids - unless there is just a few things you want to see/do in each park.

Rocknrolla Coaster ??? do you mean Rip Ride Rocket - if so that's in Univ Studios - apparently it's great!! (Wife and I been 4 times and huge queues (2 hour + sometimes) and twice it was not running (but it looks really good!).

Don't forget other (non WDW/Universal) Florida.
Wekiwa Springs State Park
De Leon Springs
Dead River
Daytona/Cocoa/New Smyrna Beaches
Titusville (near Kennedy Space Center - Dixie Crossroads Seafood = GREAT - all you can eat Rock Shrimp - Mmmmmmmmm! ! ! ) = wrth the drive to Titusville alone!
Citrus Tower
Air Boat Rides
Native American Indian Reservations
Gatorland
Dinosoar World
Fly in a WWII fighter.
Paracute
Hard Rock Live/Cafe/Hotel/Casino (all different)

We got it all Here and it aint just Disney!

Aything else - just ask.

Oh FH1brit you are gonna be sssoooooooooo sorry you said "anything else, just ask" lol.

Thank you bubble too for your advice. I posted my questions about 10 days ago and was getting worried that noone had replied :D

Will take all that into account. We are going the last two weeks in September when all the schools are back in and reckon it will be quieter if thats possible. Booking our Discovery Cove tickets too this weekend - oh the excitement.

Basically we werent going to do any of Disney as my boys are 12 and 9 (going on 25!!!) but would love to see some of Animal Kingdom and MGM and if we had a spare day or two...................

I googled Disney park hoppers and there was a choice of that WITH waterparks so thats probably the one we would do. Will book all the other park tickets from home but might buy the Disney ones from the desk at the hotel. Havent booked car hire as not sure we will need it. The hotel is very central and runs a shuttle to Universal etc.

Isn't it ridiculous that a grown up is more excited than her children lol ;)

My family and I have done all the parks (over 4 trips though) and the Universal ones are better for thrill seekers imo. However, the Rock n Roller Coaster is at Disney's Hollywood Studios and is a much superior ride to Universal's Rip Ride Rockit. Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom is also a great ride. Disney's Blizzard Beach is a better waterpark than Aquatica though and if you like more extreme water rides/slides you may want to consider Wet 'n' Wild. I think you may be trying to squeeze too much in though if you try and do Disney as well. Definitely do Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Sea World is a must and Busch too. Discovery Cove is also well worth it. By the time you throw in a few shopping/relaxing days, maybe a trip to Kennedy Space Centre, Old Town Kissimmee and an airboat ride you'll be doing well not to be on your knees. Best advice is to save Disney for your next trip.

Don't usually look on this forum, but might be returning to Orlando next Easter and spotted this thread. I haven't been for a couple of years but my general advice would be to get hold of an up to date copy of a book called "Brits Guide to Orlando". This has loads of info in, particularly geared to us Brits, including a guide to all the main rides in all the parks, what heights/ages they're suitable for, which days which parks are busiest and quietest, brilliant tips on how to avoid queues (there will still be queues in September), how best to get around, restaurant recommendations, hotels, suggested itineraries etc etc. Both times we've been I've bought this book and can't recommend it highly enough. I got it about six months before we went and dipped into it nearly every day so by the time we got there my "Orlando bible" was thoroughly dog eared! Happy holidays!
