We went on the Big Red Bus tour last year (in April ) and they mentioned we were just too early for the Strawberry fair ... As we are hoping the ash clears and we will be out early in May this time we were wondering when it is actually on and whereabouts it was ?
It was one of the old villages on route around the tour, name escapes me (think it was near a big football ground ?)...

It's in Deryneia, at the football ground.
The festival is on 14th May. Which (if we get there!) is a few days after we get back
