Holiday cancelled to Tenerife today. Rescheduling my hols is proving damn expensive (either I got myself a cracking deal, or I'm just suffering because when I can go it high season now, probably a combination of both.)

Anyways, we have an 18 month old and a 3 year old. I guess we really just need a decent hotel and a beach. Not really fussed for kids clubs etc, as they are quite young. Just want somewhere to go where I can switch off for the most part and let them play the old fashioned way.

Looking for any suggestions anywhere......cheap flights with Ryanair/Easyjet, and out of town hotels don't faze me. Equally we can do the package thing no problem. Don't really want to be heading to the Canaries in the height of summer as the kids are so young (and the Mrs has a typically Scottish complexion!).

Any suggestions greatfully received as this is our first time away with the kids.
