They have FOX channel on the TV's in the Dom Rep so they might have some World Cup games through that channel, I know that Premiership matches have been aired on that channel.

If not 15 minutes by taxi you can go to the Playa Dorada Complex.

In the Playa Dorada Complex there are several bars that show the football games..

Hemminways, Roadways and Philip Bar show live football. Philip Bar is run by an English guy who sells brand beers and spirits from the U.K.

Hemingways has a big screen and they show all the big matches.... Phils bar is small but you will get alot of the Brits there great atmosphere and reasonable priced beer.

There is no time difference between the Dom Rep and Cuba.
The time difference between Dom Rep and South Africa is South Africa is -6 hours behind Dom Rep.

Hi rwesty. when we stayed at the Riu Merengue a few years ago they had fox t.v. in the 24 hour sports bar there. Have a brilliant holiday - we did.
