I've just been in touch with Direct Holidays about the strike, and they informed that a strike will take place from 21.00 hrs on the 4th of May to 21.00 hrs on the 5th.

As of this moment they did not know if this will affect their flights as they have no knowledge as to who will strike and who will not.

They told me to call back tomorrow evening about my flight to Rhodes when they will have a clearer picture as to what is happening.

Anyone using Direct Holidays for a Rhodes flight tomorrow ring 01274 387 634 to speak to the Duty Officer.

I don't know if this number applies to Thomas Cook bookings but is does for DH.

Edit: Thomas Cook called to say flight now at 19.30 arriving Rhodes at 01.40.

The Foreign Office website says that there will be NO flights to or from Greek airports on the 5th May. This includes Air Traffic Control.
