We took Lira with us and felt it the cheapest rate but that was a couple of years back!
take your own currency and change it to lira when you go out there we have allways found that is best .enjoy
Agree with Gommer - you get a better rate there. We do always take about £50 in Turkish Lira for when we arrive just in case.
