Just wondered how you got on in Cancun... what were the prices of cigs? Is it better to buy them in the airport or at the resort. My hubby normally just buys marlboro as they are cheaper when we are out there.

A Packet of Marlboro in resort (Riu Hotel Shop) was $52 peso.

In the airport 200 Lambert and Butler were $26 USD if I remember correctly or $50 for 400 Lambert and Butler. Don't be confused there branded L and B over there due to brand restrictions.

Marlboro cartons are cheaper in resort than the airport and you cannot buy UK Cigarettes in resort.

Equally its cheaper to take them out then bring them back e.g. buy from duty free in the UK and put them in the case on the way home.
