Hi all
Me and my mum are planning a last minute getaway to celebrate her getting the all clear following cancer treatment...the docs have given the go ahead so we're frantically looking now for somewhere nice to go, we've settled on Turkey for the nice weather and the shopping opportunities.
Can anyone recommend a nice all inclusive hotel in a fairly flat resort with things going on in the evenings (quizzes and things like that)? We're looking to go 5th June for a week (yes, very last minute!) and have quite a small budget...I know nice and small budget don't always go together but who knows we might get lucky! If the hotel does cocktails it would be an added bonus
Thanks for your help
Hi Gran Pasa in Marmaris is nice but there is lots off nice ones out there but don't no if there are cheap try looking on teletext some times you get late deals. I know in our town Dawson and Sandersons travel agents have quite a few late cheap deals xx
Icmeler is a nice flat resort so it might be worth looking into options there. Theres plenty of nightlife aswell but nothing over the top. We only ever go self catering on holiday so I can't recommend a particular AI hotel but I'm sure others will.
Does Icmeler have lots of shops selling the 'genuine fakes' I've read so much about on here? She is particularly excited about this
We have stayed at the Oylum Prestige, and the L'etoil hotels in Icmeler, and like them both. The L'etoil, I would say, is slightly better than the Oylum, and more central.
Marn.
Its near the canal which has lots of stalls selling bags,T shirts,DVDs etc and is lovely at night when its all lit up.
The restaurants in Icmeler are excellent value so even if you go HB or B&B there is plenty of choice.
