Hi, We are off to Vilamoura in less than 2 weeks, will be our 9th visit, and we love it. Not sure how much the sun beds cost but the beaches are gorgeous, the Ampalius Hotel is right on the beach,. The food is not as cheap as it used to be a few years ago, but generally the quality in very good, meals on the marina tend to be a little more expensive than the restaurants in the square behind the marina( Find the chemist on the back road next to the Irish bar and over the road there are some lovely restaurants (Pipa Rota, Braganga Mar Ceasar & Daniel Palace, an the Italian are all nice.) You can also walk to Quartara from the hotel, which is cheaper to eat, if you can find where the locals eat you usually get a good meal. Don't know when you are going but the weather in June is usually gorgeous. Have a lovely holiday

Just back from the Marina area of Vilamoura.......so nice.
One highlight for me was "PURE" - one block uphill from the Marina. such a cool, hip, lounge/chillid kind of vibe. full of beautiful people....Staff/Music/Location/Ambiance - Single/Couples.......Gotta Try It!! No outlandish club prices either :)))
Can't wait to pop in again later this year.
