cant help you re supermarkets in tsilivi but im sure there are plenty around the resort as there are in kalamaki, £500 should be jus about enough for a week for 2 of you but maybe take a bank card as back up just in case as you never know what you might want to do when you get there eg. trips etc
we usually budget for about 150euros a day but thats 2 adults 2 children but they are 17 and 13 and eat like adults anyway, some days we spend less, some days more
have a great time when you go, 26 july for the 4th time to kalamaki for me, cant wait :sun2 :cheers

Hi Lancslass we are going (2 adults and a 5 and 3 year old) to Kalamaki on the 12th July, just wondering as you've been a few times if you can recommend any restaurants/bars on a night. We used to budget on about £100-ish a day but will be on about 150 euro's a day this year because of the exchange rate etc. Kids don't eat too much but drink like fishes (non alcoholic drinks obv :rofl )

hi
there are many good restaurants and bars, some of our favourites are heavens kitchen, parthenon, hera, paulos but there are many others to choose from, what i would suggest is take a look during the day and have a look at menu boards etc to give you rough ideas on food and prices all depends on what you like really, i say during the day then you get to look properly without the PRs and staff trying to get you in there.
as for bars again its depending on what you like, oceanic is a great chill out bar, iguana bar and they do great snacks at lunch times again plentyof bars to choose from.
where are you staying? and how long for, if you are there for 2 weeks you will still be there when i get there :cheers

Thanks for your information. We are staying at the Caretta beach for only a week :cry Really looking forward to it, love the taverna's and should hopefully have enough money to really enjoy our holiday.

Where are you staying?

we are also staying at caretta beach, we normally stay at the amaryllis but caretta was bit cheaper this year and with all them pools it swayed me a little
when you come back you will have to let me know what its like, rooms etc
have a great time when you go :sun2 :cheers

Yes the pools and kids reviews swayed us too. I'll pm you when we get back to let you know what the hotel is like. Heard that there is a block near one of the hotel bars which is apprently noisy but I don't think it will be too much of a problem.

Babyamy,

just bear in mind that you may have to pay extra for air conditioning (rarely it's included in the price of sc these days) and also you'll need to cough up if you want a safe. If you are going to pay for these, maybe you'd like to expand your buget a little as these soon add up.
