Be vary cafefull with your baggage weight this year! We were 2 Kilos over going out from Newcastle, i had weighed both suitcases and knew we just a bit to heavy but as we allways fly from there over the years have noticed that they allways turn a blind eye to a few kilos it was only people who obused it that got charged. However this year 2 Kilo,s cost us £24.00 . We were told that we could take something out but as we allmost first in the line for check in i did not want to hold other passengers up whilst we unpacked/re-packed etc. also what was i going to do, wear 10 tee shirts and 3 pairs of shorts.
Also be carefull at Dalaman Airport, we know they have always charged excess baggage but this year they are also weighing hand baggage, the family in front of us got caught big time, i do not know how much they had to pay but with all there main luggage on the convayer they had to place all there hand luggage on a supervisor was called to sort out the cost, and from the look on their faces it was not a few pounds, sorry if any spelling mistakes only had a few hours sleep since we got home.
