I have had a nightmare of an holiday booked through Ola holidays. After looking at your website I have took advice and sent the following email as suggested to teletext. any advice appreciatedon how to deal with this. Received an email straight away back from teletext said they will look into this.

After being on Martin Lewis money matters website, he recommended trying teletext to book a holiday so i took his advice and had a look i phoned a few companies and spoke to Ola holidays the salesperson was ----, I told him I was a bridesmaid at my best freinds wedding in Hisonaru in Turkey and wanted to leave around the 30th for 1 week. I told him because i had 3 young children i wanted a all inclusive in either olu deniz or hisonaru again stressing the importance of being near the wedding party. He advised me he could accomodate us at the Tropicana Hotel in Olu Deniz, I looked into review of the hotel on website researched how far it was from my freinds and how much it would cost to travel, he assured me that it was a 10 minute ride in Dolmus as he knew the area well, this seemed perfect as i would be near everyone so I spoke to my freind who was also a bridesmaid and --- phoned us back and we booked, again telling us the hotel was Tropicana in Olu Deniz. I had been reading reviews on the hotel and it was saying their attic rooms were bad so i phoned ---- and asked him to make sure we were not in attic, room he said no need to worry we were in Tropicana in family room and their not attic rooms. Received paperwork did not say any hotel name on it, thought this was just the way the came if it had come with the other hotel name on it i wouldhave been on phone straight away to query or cancel booking as again the whole reason i have saved all year to go on this holiday is to go to wedding. We arrived in Dalaman 4 adult and 4 children aged 9,7,7 and 4 at 0400 hrs children were extremely tired. We went to resort hopper as directed told them our name and Hotel Tropicana Olu Deniz, while we were there there were also other people having problems finding there name on transfers booked through ola holidays. We arrived at Tropicana at 0600 children and adults exhausted looking forward to booking in our room to be told by the receptionist that he had no booking under name of -----,we thought he must be wrong got him to phone his manager, he didnt know who Ola holidays where. He said there was nothing he could do his hotel was full. Wetried to contact company but obviously they were not open this was a very stressfull experience in a foriegn counrty with young children and no where to sleep the children were devastated. We asked the manager to see if he could findus somewhere to sleep until we could get hold of someone in morning. They eventually found us another hotel Alize hotel not from from where we were. We went there booked in a had a few hours sleep until it was time for offices in uk to open. When i tried in morning to get through to them they were closed as it was bank holiday, so after spending hours on mymobile trying to get through to the sales centre i phoned mymum back home to ask her to phone them and explain what has happened. Mymum got through andspoke to who was very helpful she phoned me backand told me i wasbooked into Lykia Botanical in Olu Deniz, as they had been unable to get us booked into Tropicana as they had no family rooms left, she saidhad noone ever told you that your booking had changed and i replied no. When i went toreception to boo ktaxithey toldmeit was not in Olu Deniz but in a area called YanIklar and it was a distanceaway got in taxi and were taken to this hotel which was about 50 minutes ,and 100 turkish lira in a taxi from Olu Denizand in the middle of no where. It cost us so much expense trying to get to seeour freinds and it was just too long to travel with kids. I tried all Tuesday to get through to Ola but after being on hold for 10 15 minutes it would cut me off. Eventually got hold of them on Wednesday day of wedding explained everything that had happened and they put me on to thier operational team who arrangedfor us to be booked in to Alize hotel the one we had to pay out 500 turkish lira for the first night. So it meant going back to the Lykia Botanikal the night after wedding, packing upand leaving frst thing in morning. Another move. So eventually we were settled for 3 night but too tired and emotially drained to enjoy our holiday, I can not put into words how difficult this holiday has been and I am so upset we all worked hard to be there,. I will do whatever neccessary to ensure we are compensated for Ola's incomptancies I will go on every website and tell people and will speak to trading standards. I would appreciate if you could take this up fro me with Ola and see what they are willing to do.
What a diabolic state of affairs. You deserve out of pocket expenses and some form of compensation from Ola.
