Ok first I think you need to deal with the upcoming holiday but nothing stopping you booking a flight to tenerife in the meantime . The lead name will have to make the call. I don't see a problem for the rest of you . As far as i'm aware you would just need to cancel her from the booking . It shouldnt affect the cost of the other 3 of you . she wont get her money back now but as it's ill health she can claim on her travel insurance . Obviously if between you , you can find a replacement it should just be a booking amendment fee but not sure how much this would be so close to departure . That should be a cost bourne by your friend though out of any money she can recoupe and not by the rest of you .

Thanks for swift response i am the lead name on the party, im just waiting on a friend to get back to me see if she can get the time off fingers crossed given her until tonight then i will be cancelling s i think this is probabley the own option. Ive said to the person who can`t attend to see if she an fnd someone to take her place, or claim on her insurance but doesnt seem to bothered and leaving it to me.
