We last visited Santorini 10 years ago, staying in the beach resort of Perissa. We said that if we ever returned, we would like to stay by the caldera. This year we combined a few nights on Santorini with a stay on Naxos, staying 4 nights in the Pegasus Suites in Imerovigli, aboout half an hours walk north of Fira town.

In a lot of ways, Santorini is not typical of the Greek islands, it is also very busy, touristy and commercialised - but it is alsounique and very photogenic. This is a small slection of the hundreds oif picture I took on my visit there.
