At the beginning stages of planning trip to SA. Was thinking of going to Cape Town but would like to visit Kreuger Park also.
Is KNP a safari reserve as Massa Mara and Tsavo?
I see that KNP is closer to J''burg than Capetown though. Is it easy to travel from Cape to KNP? If so, how (plane, car, train)?
Also, is there a better safari option closer to Capetown?
sorry, I've had to remove your email address for your security. Graham HT Mod and I will reply when ready.

Whether you are staying at a luxury lodge or at one of the restcamps in Kruger National Park, you should look at some of the activities outside the Park. These activities and attractions include Elephant back safaris, hot air balloon trips, the Endangered Species Centre, the Cheetah Breeding Project, various cultural villages, horse back riding, spa treatments and even a round of golf. One or more of these activities combined with your safari adventure is something definitely to consider.
