Was really disappointed with the overall quality of the food in San An - for an island seafood is like gold dust!!
Enjoyed Relish in the bay - freshly cooked, simple food at good prices.
Jamels Bistro in the West End - again well cooked food, himself had the biggest tbone I ever saw!
Curry Club - decent curry in a lovely location and good service
Oasis - on a side street off the bottom end of the bay strip - cafe type food, freshly cooked, good service, reasonable and child friendly
In fact overall found places child friendly.
san an has some of ibiza's finest seafood rezzies. in the bay, can pujol (by fontanellas) is full of ibbies who book well in advance to dine there. towards san an on the prom you'll find sa punta (near the windmill) which does a fab bullit de peix, in san an, rias baixas is the tops for galician style seafood and at the ferry terminal el yate have great budget lunchtime specials with lots of fish.
My favourite is Villa Marcedes in San Antonio.
We looking for places that are suitable for a 10 year old fussy eater(chips and more chips) and 2 unfussy adults. We love all kinds of food but would prefer places that aren`t too expensive and not too fancy as our boy can be a bit stroppy at times.

Es Cana has some good restaruants that cater for all tastes. If its good value you're after then you won't go too far wrong at the Marvent Restaraunt, which is next too Charlie bar, good choice for adults and children and the prices (2008) were very reasonable. There are plenty of other good restaruants as you walk from the bus station round Las Arena bakery and up towards the hippy market. These include a very good Italian on the left up the hill. Stayed June 2008, going back July 2009. Says it all really
Casa Mannelo;s.In playa den bossa.just where you get the boats from.has to beat it all.every day a boat would pull up with fresh fish.he would sell his goods to the restaruant.within an hour that fish was cooked and being eaten.

Will let you know Christine, we are actually going last week July, first week August so if you are going early Aug then I might be out there at the same time. Some friends we met last year are back out there at the moment and have said that the Italian is still very good along with Marvent and also that the prices are pretty much the same as last year as well.
Saintharb, we don`t go while 17 August so you should be back by then.
